Dr. Carl Leonard
Dr. Carl Leonard, a Prosthodontist, is a graduate of the University of Tulane where he received his bachelor’s degrees in Cellular and Molecular Biology as well as Economics with minors in both business and ceramics. His formal dental education was completed at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. During his time there he was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honors Society. Dr. Leonard then completed a three year postgraduate specialty program in Advanced Prosthodontics at the University of Illinois at Chicago earning a certificate in Prosthodontics. A program which focuses on comprehensive and complex full mouth oral rehabilitation including implant surgery and restorations as well as digital dentistry.
Dr. Leonard has taught as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry and has been in private practice since 2007. Dr. Leonard believes that patients always come first and that as leaders in the dental field we have to hold ourselves to the highest clinical and ethical standards possible. Dr. Leonard is a member of the American College of Prosthodontists, American Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society, and Illinois State Dental Society.
Dr. Leonard is a native of the Chicagoland area. When not in the office he enjoys spending time with his wife and three boys. His hobbies include woodworking, cycling as well as coaching youth soccer.
