Porcelain Crowns & Bridges
We use crowns to help restore a tooth’s function and appearance when a pre-existing crown must be replaced, or a tooth has decayed or to the point that it will not will not hold bonded restoration or veneer. Crowns can be made of gold, porcelain fused to gold, pressed ceramics (no metal) or zirconia (no metal). Crowns can be made to restore natural teeth with broken down restorations and implants, either as single restorations or bridges.
From a strictly cosmetic standpoint, crowns also may be used to restore a stained or otherwise discolored tooth to make it look as natural as your own teeth. Patients are often referred to our office because of our reputation to manage the often cosmetic challenges to mimic a natural tooth with a porcelain restoration. Our in house master laboratory technician enable us to create exceptional fitting and esthetic restorations.
